But they are also parents who organise activities for their neighbours, youth who step forward to help others, and children who bring curiosity and energy to the communities around them. These strengths are already at work. Residents are already leading, connecting, and looking out for one another. Make Room to Belong is about creating more opportunities for this to happen. It is about neighbours coming together around shared concerns, children having places where they can learn and express themselves, and youth discovering their voice and their place in the community.
