SYNOPSIS 25 years ago on 9/11, a tragedy led to a miracle. On the morning of September 11, 2001, the people of the little town of Gander, Canada, wake up to the horrifying news of the terrorist attacks taking place in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania. The attacks result in the closure of US airspace, diverting 38 international aircrafts to Gander International Airport. The Gander townsfolk spring to action to house, feed, clothe, comfort and provide a home away from home for the nearly 7,000 terrified passengers, along with 19 animals in cargo. “You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll be a better person when you leave the theatre. Don’t miss Come From Away.” – Broadway World A VERY SPECIAL FAREWELL Pangdemonium has announced its closure, marking the end of an impactful chapter in Singapore’s arts scene. It is staging Come From Away at Victoria Theatre from 11 to 27 September 2026 as their final production. In conjunction with this, Ambulance Wish Singapore is honoured to have been offered exclusive Category 1 seating rates for its 18 September 2026 performance. This presents a meaningful opportunity to be part of a celebrated event while supporting both the arts and a good cause. Proceeds from this campaign will go towards supporting Ambulance Wish Singapore’s programme and operating expenses. Qualifying donations will be eligible for matching through Tote Board’s Enhanced Fund-raising Programme, allowing your contribution to go even further through matching support. Ambulance Wish Singapore is organising our first Charity Golf and Dinner - Tee Off for Wishes 2026 to raise funds in support of our wish-granting programmes and operations costs. Donations received during our approved campaign period from 10 May 2026 to 31 Dec 2026 are eligible for matching under Tote Board's Enhanced Fundraising Programme, subject to programme terms and conditions. The event will feature a friendly competition across The New Course at Singapore Island Country Club (SICC), followed by a celebratory dinner with exciting activities. Every donation helps us create meaningful memories that last a lifetime. Here at Ambulance Wish Singapore, we believe in the profound impact of fulfilling a wish – it brings joy, peace, comfort, and closure to patients and their families, allowing them to cherish meaningful moments together. Ambulance Wish Singapore has fulfilled more than 500 wishes and impacted over 9,000 lives since inception in 2019.
