Help us make a difference
We want to continue on our mission to bring people together to love our waters and make a sustainable future a reality for all! And to do so, we need your support. Every effort counts!

To bring people together to love our waters and to inspire stewardship for our environment
Established in 1998, Waterways Watch Society is a non-governmental and non-profit environmental organisation. Committed to fostering appreciation and promoting conservation of our environment, especially the waterways in Singapore. Incorporating fun into learning and volunteering is a big part of our mission! As a strong advocate of social responsibility and environmental stewardship, we aim to foster appreciation for our waters and instil a sense of ownership for our environment through our wide variety of experiential-learning programmes.
Our work is driven by three core objectives:
- Promote Awareness: Connecting the public directly with local aquatic ecosystems to cultivate genuine pride and care for our blue spaces.
- Advocate Protection: Serving as eyes and ears on the water, actively monitoring, removing litter, and safeguarding Singapore’s catchments.
- Educate for Responsibility: Inspiring sustainable daily habits by showing how everyday land-based choices directly impact our waters.
By recognizing that environmental issues are deeply interconnected, focusing on long-term sustainability, and empowering individuals to take personal ownership, WWS ensures Singapore’s waterways remain clean, vibrant, and protected for generations to come.
