Our Mission
To create a kind and inclusive society where persons with disabilities can participate and thrive
Started in 2017 as a ground-up movement, Be Kind SG creates inclusive opportunities for persons with disabilities to learn, connect, participate and thrive. Today, we are a registered IPC charity, supporting people with disabilities across different stages of life.
Our programmes create inclusive opportunities for people with disabilities while supporting the families and caregivers around them:
- Play.Able — supporting children with disabilities and their siblings, together with their families, through inclusive play, sports, learning and family activities.
- Seeds — supporting teenagers and youths with disabilities and their families through opportunities to learn, build confidence, develop skills and participate meaningfully in the community.
- Be A Special Friend — connecting older adults with disabilities with volunteers through friendships, outings and meaningful activities, helping to reduce social isolation and strengthen community connections.
Through these programmes, we create meaningful experiences, build connections and help people with disabilities participate more fully in the community — because everyone deserves to belong.
