Finding Strength in Community

At just 22, Puteri Nur Afiqah faced thyroid cancer while living with scoliosis and supporting her mother through breast cancer.

Through Ain Society’s Young Heroes Cancer Care youth corner, Puteri found a community where she could connect with others, recharge and feel understood. Ain Society also supported her family through its Crisis and Relief Fund, providing financial assistance and essential items during challenging times.

Today, Puteri continues to move forward with strength and positivity — a reminder of how meaningful support can bring hope beyond a cancer diagnosis.

A Mother’s Strength and Resilience

Mdm Siti Asmaniah was diagnosed with Stage 2 colon cancer in 2018 and now lives with a permanent stoma. Yet amid her own journey, she continues caring for her bedridden son, elderly mother and husband.
